On 2026-10-10, French cyclist Paul Seixas claimed his first Monument by winning the Tour of Lombardy in Côme. At just 20 years old, the Decathlon CMA CGM rider turned a historic classic into a personal breakthrough.

With 19 kilometres left to the finish, Seixas launched a solo attack on the Civiglio climb.
The attack saw Seixas drop several of the day's biggest names. Remco Evenepoel, Brandon McNulty, and Giulio Ciccone were all unable to follow his pace as he pulled clear.
He crossed the line 48 seconds ahead of second-placed Enric Mas and a full minute and five seconds ahead of Giulio Ciccone, who took third.
By winning, Seixas became the youngest rider to triumph in the Tour of Lombardy in its 120-year history. He also joined the select group of the four youngest Monument winners of all time.
