Trabzonspor's Health Board Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Besir, has released an official statement regarding the health conditions of players Franculino Dju and Aral Simsir. Following medical examinations and imaging, the club has confirmed that both athletes are currently undergoing treatment under the supervision of the medical team.
According to the club's announcement, Franculino Dju suffered a muscle and tendon injury in his left posterior thigh during the match against Caykur Rizespor. Specifically, examinations revealed bleeding and edema in the muscle and intramuscular tendon in the posterior inner part of the thigh. Meanwhile, Aral Simsir sustained a partial muscle injury during training. Imaging showed partial bleeding and edema in the outer part of his right lower calf.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Besir provided the following update: "Our player Franculino Dju, who felt pain in the left posterior thigh in the final part of the Caykur Rizespor match, was found to have bleeding and edema in the muscle and intramuscular tendon in the posterior inner part of the thigh as a result of the examination and MR imaging. In addition, as a result of the MR imaging of our player Aral Simsir, who felt pain in the outer part of the right lower calf during our team's training, partial bleeding and edema were detected in the outer part of the muscle, and the treatment of our players has been started by our medical team."
Meanwhile, Aral Simsir sustained a partial muscle injury during training.
