After the detention, the party says that neither the families of the detained leaders nor their legal representatives were informed of their whereabouts or condition. This lack of communication persisted for twelve hours, a period during which the detainees remained inaccessible to anyone outside police custody.

The Party's Formal Protest

In response to the situation, Ajinkya Shinde, the organizing secretary of the Kakaroch Jana Party, sent a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner. The correspondence demanded immediate disclosure of the three leaders’ status, permission for them to meet with their lawyers, and their release if the detention was found to be unlawful. The party characterized the episode as "inhumane" and asserted that it violated fundamental rights.
