In a move to address the digital divide and empower the youth, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched the PM Youth Chromebook Scheme. This initiative aims to distribute 500,000 refurbished Chromebooks and internet devices to students across Pakistan, with a particular focus on public and private schools and madaris. The scheme is part of a broader effort to improve educational outcomes and ensure that young people have the tools they need to succeed in the digital age.
