Tayfun Akalan, a police officer serving in the Van Anti-Crime and Organized Crime Unit, was involved in a tragic traffic accident. The incident occurred in Van. Despite the immediate response of emergency services and all medical interventions, Akalan could not be saved and was martyred.
Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi expressed his deepest condolences to the officer's family and the security forces on his NSosyal account.
