Valencia Club de Fútbol announced the sale of 42 percent of its shares to Pitchwise Holdings, a United-States-based investment group. The transaction price of €500 million, coupled with an immediate capital injection of €100 million, places the club’s enterprise value at €1.25 billion. The valuation encompasses the first-team squad, the existing Mestalla stadium, and the new stadium project.

Pitchwise Holdings entered the deal as a conglomerate led by Ann Rodriguez and Corey Woolfolk. The firm’s portfolio spans sports and operational management, positioning it to take an active role in Valencia’s day-to-day affairs. Alongside Rodriguez and Woolfolk, the investor consortium includes notable figures such as George Roberts, the Penner Sports Group, and Henry Kravis. Their collective capital is expected to complement the club’s existing resources.
Singaporean businessman Peter Lim, who has been the majority shareholder, remains the majority shareholder after the sale. The club’s president, Kiat, will continue to steer Valencia under the revised ownership structure. Meriton Holdings, identified as the current largest shareholder, will keep its position while ceding the 42 percent stake to Pitchwise.

The €100 million that Pitchwise is injecting into Valencia is earmarked as fresh capital. By separating the purchase price of €500 million from the capital boost, the parties underscore a dual-track approach: ownership change and operational funding.
The transaction is pending regulatory approvals. Until those approvals are secured, the final operational role of Pitchwise remains to be confirmed.
